At Dream Interiors: Project by Elixr Design

At Dream Interiors, interactivity was the order of the day, whether it was posing on Elixr Design's '3D' box, wandering into Asylum's colourful duct tape house (top image) or peeking into Studio Terre's hanging 'miniature houses' to read up on brands carried at Dream.

At APS Lifestyle Marketing: Project by Tina Lai

APS Lifestyle Marketing chose to tease the palate (and all the senses) with a cookery slash design demonstration by interior design creative director Tina Lai. Visitors also peered into Smeg fridges that had been 'interior designed' to match their exteriors.

At BW Furniture: Project by SCA and Lasalle College of the Arts (also see top image)

The BW Furniture showroom stopped visitors in their tracks with a thought provoking and impressive series of optical illusions by SCA and Lasalle College of the Arts that highlighted the unique aspects of products they carry, including Okamura's stackable and swivel chairs, the Kruze Lounge from BOSS, the HAG Capisco seat and Vitra's Alcove Highback two-seater. By standing in just the right position for example, visitors witnessed how nuts and bolts transformed into human silhouettes and shapes aligned to form furniture!

At Kokuyo: A project by Space Matrix and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts

Dreamy bubbles blew out of Kokuyo's showroom and into the street. More bubbles inside, this time in acrylic, all to underscore products inspired by air.

At XTRA: Project by Steven Louie and Temasek Polytechnic for Interface

XTRA offered up a whopper series of projects. Geyer invited visitors to build urban landscapes using miniature cubes while film classics such as Metropolis were projected on larger blocks to express the concept of dystopia. Nearby, 'ideas took flight' in an Interface installation featuring origami birds and bells by Temasek Polytechnic students (led by Steven Louie); Black Design worked with Monster Gallery, Fiore Dorato and Mindflyer to highlight the versatility of the Arras table system; and artist Eeshaun had the crowd pulling out their creative chops to decorate a large stretch of wall.

At Hansgrohe: Project by TOPOS Design

The sense of whimsy continued at Hansgrohe. All one had to do was look up to see a cloud with taps hanging down like raindrops - TOPOS Design's interpretation of the idea that every bathroom needs a dream.
