Describe your philosophy.

To simplify it, there are a few quotes that I live by which have affected me and our studio's works. Here are some of them:

Design is not king, we march backwards into the future and take your pleasure seriously.

Keeping Tabs on Time - inspired by parking coupons

Projects you're busy with at the moment.

Branding for a shopping centre, wayfinding and environmental design for offices, working for a charity event... just to name a few.

Top 3 influences.

Marshall McLuhan, Helmut Newton, Charles & Ray Eames and a few more.

An Elderly Chair - a reinterpretation of the Kopitiam chair for the Singaplural exhibition 

Favourite local landmark/building.

Blk 404 Pandan Gardens. A typical HDB block.

Favourite international landmark/building.

Eiffel tower.

Dream project - real of imaginary.

I don't have a dream project. That'll put all the rest of my clients or projects in a 2nd tier status. As long as whatever I do has a greater purpose than just delivering the goods to the user that alone is a dream come true.

Dream person to collaborate with.

Ai Weiwei.
